Most of our McDonald’s General Managers would agree that McDonald’s is their life. For Melissa Meisinger, it’s the first thing you’ll hear from her when you ask her about her job. Melissa has worked for McDonald’s for 16 years and is currently at the S. Seneca location.
“It’s my everything, it supports my kids and my life,” Melissa said. “When Joe purchased this store, it was a life saver.”
Joe purchased the South Seneca location in December 2013 and Melissa had only been the General Manager for two weeks. She was primarily a Swing Manager at the Walmart at Pawnee and Broadway but moved to Kellogg and Dugan before returning to South Seneca where she was an Assistant Manager until General Manager Irene Aguilar was promoted to Supervisor in December.
Melissa know she has big shoes to fill, but she knows that Irene is there to support her.
“She is always there for me,” Melissa said. “She says there are never any stupid questions.”
The current focus is raising the voice numbers, and she is confident she can do it.
“I’ve always know that with the Lanes, they want you to grow as much as you want to,” Melissa said. “I am so happy to be working for them. They are the best.”
