After undergoing a major renovation, Lane Enterprises' McDonald's restaurant at 21st and Maize is open once again.
The facelift included the renovation of the restaurant's lobby area and instillation of digital menu boards in the drive-thru complete with digital kiosks. The restaurant's kitchen was also remodeled and landscaping was done around the building, according to Lane Enterprises spokeswoman Kristin Marlett.
According to city building permit records, the renovation project was valued at about $540,000. JRAL Construction out of El Dorado served as the general contractor.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place June 1. From 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. that day, the first 25 customers to order using a kiosk and the first 25 dine-in customers will receive a punch card good for one extra value meal once per week for a year.
The restaurant is located at 10321 E. 21st St. Lane Enterprises, which is based in El Dorado, also celebrated the completion of a renovation at its Goddard McDonald's location earlier this year.
